Dear Students

The twenty-first century is the century of women. Today, women have become active in every sphere of their lives, coming out of the confines of homes on a large scale. The result of this activism is that women have shown their abilities in the fields of knowledge, science, medicine, education, politics, management, literature, etc.

Swami Vivekananda once said that "women have many difficult problems but there is not a single one of them which cannot be solved by this magic word of education". The spread of education has changed the lives of women. In the contemporary rural Indian set-up, girls are no more confined to their homes and have started going to schools and decorating their dreams for a better life contributing to the development of our nation and state.

Today in this challenging world there is a need to give modern enhancement and technological upgradation to the thinking and personality of girls through education. For this purpose, our Rajkiya Mahila Snatakottar Mahavidyalaya is committed. We are determined to prepare our girl students to meet the challenges of the present age. The first objective is to provide all the girl students with the necessary qualifications for employment, and the second is to build up their ideological and mental strength in such a way that they can face all the challenges in every sphere of their lives adequately.

We will be proud when our daughters themselves become better citizens and at the same time play a leading role in improving our society. For this purpose, various extra-curricular programs and competitions are organized throughout the year for the all-round development of girl students along with studies and teaching activities in our college.

According to the New Education Policy 2020, it is our goal to provide expert guidance and quality education to all the girl students in their graduation, post-graduation, and research work under the semester system prescribed by Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, Jaunpur. With its progressive efforts, the college is moving towards advancement and continuously achieving new heights with positive changes, setting new paradigms of higher education every day.

I am committed to the continuous advancement and upgradation of this college. I am happy to contribute in this direction and will continue doing so in the future as well. Rajkiya Mahila Snatakottar Mahavidyalaya should remain the top college of the state and Purvanchal region. The professors and staff of the college greatly support this effort and resolution of mine because of their commitment and dedication toward college. I wish that the girls of Ghazipur become capable, empowered, and epitomes of woman empowerment. Their identity should be established at the national and international levels.

With Best Wishes
