Computer education was started in Government Girls PG College Ghazipur in collaboration with Purvanchal Institute of Information Technology Ghazipur. In this center, O Level, CCC, which is a recognized course by NIELIT, is being conducted and at present vocational courses (BCA and BMC) are also being conducted under the new education policy. To run these courses 30 Latest computers System, 1 projector have been installed in the computer center by the  college. Faculties are providing quality traning to the students according to their Potential and also Motivate for Women Empowerment.

As the Indian economy is surging ahead, demand for technocrats is rising exponentially. But, the biggest problem is non availability of quality education, which leaves most of the tech graduates jobless even after having the degree. At Computer Center in Government Girls PG College, we make extensive efforts to equip the students with key skills, which are critical for success at the corporate world. We have well qualified, experienced faculty to take care of education. The world class infrastructure at the campus ensures that the students do not miss a single learning opportunity.

4.3.1 - Institution frequently updates its IT facilities including Wi-Fi

The college recognises the importance of ICT facilities along with other infrastructural facilities. Accordingly, plans are made and executed for the upgrade of ICT facilities available on the campus. There has been an increase in the number of computers as well as in the use of internet facilities and customized software. The college has 28 computers in various departments for academic purposes.

The college has been steadily increasing its internet connectivity over the past few years. The college initially had a BSNL LAN connection with 30 mbps speed. Additionally, JIO FIBRE internet connection with a speed of 30mbps has also been installed.

Thus currently, two dedicated internet connections are active in the college with a total speed of more than 60mbps with unlimited data per month. Wi-Fi routers and switches have been set up all over the campus.

All departments including the college office are equipped with Wi-Fi. The routers are future-ready with 5 GHz Wi-Fi capability in addition to the regular 2.4GHz, so that the upgrade to the next-level of Wi-Fi will be hassle-free.
